Pricing
Flat pricing. Unlimited resources.
Start free on your own machine. Move to Cloud when the rest of the team needs it. The price never depends on how many resources you have or how much you spend.

FAQ
Questions about pricing.
- Why not price per resource, like most tools?
- Because the estates that most need a map and a cleanup are the biggest and messiest ones, and per-resource pricing charges them the most for it. A flat price means finding 2,000 more resources never costs you more.
- Is the CLI really free? What's the limit?
- Yes, with no resource cap. It covers AWS and Azure, runs on your machine or in your VPC, and nothing leaves your environment. Cloud is for when the rest of the team needs the same view, with history, routing and approvals.
- Does Cloud Sleuth need write access to my accounts?
- No. Everything works with read-only access. If you want Cloud Sleuth Cloud to carry out cleanup plans the owner has approved, you grant a separate, narrowly scoped role, and every action is previewed, logged and reversible.
- Is it a percentage of our cloud spend or of what we save?
- Neither. The price doesn't move with your bill or with your savings.
- Where does our data live?
- With the CLI, on your machine. Cloud Sleuth Cloud is hosted. Enterprise can run self-hosted in your VPC or single-tenant, with data residency.
- When can we start?
- Both editions are in development and these are planned launch prices. Join the early-access list and you'll hear first, before any public launch.
